About The Book
I wrote this book for two reasons. First, parents and kids need to spend more time together having fun. I enjoy doing fun science projects with my dad. Not the basic stuff, like, Mentos and cola, or vinegar and baking soda volcanoes. Kids (and parents) enjoy projects that make loud sounds like “Boom!” or “Pop!”
Secondly, I wrote this book to raise money to travel to Tanzania with my family on a mission trip. My mom is making me pay my way. The tickets are very expensive and I really want to go. My goal is to sell enough books to pay for my airfare.
I hope this book gives you an arsenal of fun projects to bond with your kids and wake up your neighbors with loud sounds that go BOOM!
Projects
What’s unique about the projects in this book is that they are made specifically for the kid. The projects help the kids have fun while learning basic safty and responsibility.
All of the projects in this book i have done with my dad, and enjoy. They are fun with just a hint of danger. I hope you Enjoy!
About the author.
Hi, My name is Silas! I’m 13 years old and I love doing projects with my dad and my two brothers. We are home-schooled so we are always doing fun projects with our dad (our main science teacher). You can find us in our backyard doing anything from, making a bonfire to, building a go kart.
As we do our projects we often will record videos and put them on social media. When we would post a video tons of people would comment things like, ” How did you do that? ” or “What supplies did you use” So I thought, ” Why don’t i write a book with the projects in it.” Then, 5 months later “Boom!” was created.
I’m a 13 year old young entrepreneur who enjoys science.
